Venue Description

Café Siam offers great Thai classic that you would expect to find at food stalls in Thailand at good-value prices. The warm, casual ambience at Café Siam is perfect for either a bite alone or with a large group enjoying and soaking in the “sanuk” - which means “fun” in Thai. Café Siam has been selected as one of the recommended restaurants in Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2009.

Great appetiser set

I went last night with 3 other people. Had an amazing dinner.
the appetisers were great, really like the chicken skewers with peanut sauce.
ordered a crab curry dish, very creamy, must admit it didn't have quite enough flavour in it but the grab was good.

i do recommend you try this place, i had a great time there, and the service was very good.

Set lunch is so so

I work in Central and always go to Soho for lunch. Their set lunch are really mass production but comparatively cheaper. Perhaps this is the reason why their food is not good. But they can give you an alternative when you can't think of where to go!

great tom yum

I'm not sure how authentic it really is, but I love the tom yum goong here, nice and spicy and full of succulent sweet prawns. only problem is I always over indulge and have about 3 bowls to myself which isn't so great!

Slamming Morning Glory

Cafe Siam (or SLAM as i like to read it) has some of the best morning glory I've ever had. Great garlic flavour, not too wet, not too dry.

There's also a really creamy duck curry on the menu that I haven't had in any other thai restaurants. Its super rich and quite large, so ideal for sharing with plain rice. Anyone know what its called!? I highly recommend it, either way:)

Also, the crackers and paste they serve as you're seated are delicious, although they were out of stock last time i was there. That was disappointing:(
