Great Value!
went thier for dinner last night and had a pasta + soup + chardonnay for $100! I always find the staff friendly and food delicious.

Terrible food and intolerable level of noise.
Food: Dry, heavily processed, and not well flavored. Particularly bad.
Coffee: Par
Environment: There is a constant buzz from the poorly shielded refrigeration equipment and aircons, punctuated by the blender and coffee grinder at the bar. The music is a 30 minute loop of the same ambient/modern tracks that become quickly annoying.
Pros: Free internet and relatively comfy seating.
So, eat elsewhere and then come here with earplugs and do your work, study, etc.
The Sliding Scale
The pizzas are awesome, the cakes are great, the breakfasts are good but overpriced (for their size), the juices are reasonable but again expensive, the salads are average, the sandwiches are totally tasteless and the coffee is pretty bad. So really it's a sliding scale of things.
My advice if you want a perfect lunch everytime is stick to the pizza and order a bottle of Perrier or Water to accompany.
A quick bite gone wrong at Café O…
Words cannot describe the gut wrenching feeling you get when you realise that going the whole hog and ordering a meter of pizza for a “quick bite to eat” may not have been the best of ideas.
If the all knowing grin on the staffs faces and subtle reassurance that “you should be ok” doesn’t set alarm bells ringing, the fact that it takes two of them to bring it to your table should be an unambiguous indication that what you are about to take on should not be done so lightly.
I am happy to say that the novelty of its size did not impact on its quality and it was arguable the best pizza I have had in a long while. I would defiantly recommend mixing it up and having a half and half (the salami one was phenomenal).
It may have taken three off us of more than average proportion the best part of half an hour to finish it but we rolled out of there without a slice to spare…
Varies by location...
Is this a franchise? What I have found is that quality and service vary greatly by location. The one on Caine Road is excellent, whereas the one on Queens Rd in Sheung Wan is really, really poor. Would rather walk further down to road to graze cafe.
Pizza customisation!
I was recently introduced to the exact same pizza customisation described by ZenHK here. It's hard to go back to normal pizza now, it's just not the same. Next time you're in Cafe O and you fancy pizza - remember this one...!
Why don't Cafe O put this on their normal menu instead of keep it a secret?

...but, a little while ago i discovered what i can only imagine is the greatest pizza customisation on earth.
A very simple affair, order one of their signature 'salami and red onion jam' pizzas and ask for copious amounts of prosciutto. Its fiendishly good.
Also worth a mention, the staff in the Caine Rd branch are genuinely class people.. though I may be biased because their accents [english] remind me of home.
Cafe O should be called Cafe slOw
This place needs to improve... nice from the outside and goes down hill from there...speed of delivery is awful and my 'off seafood' pizza was cold when I FINALLY got it! I hope it gets better as we need a good cafe on Caine Road but this is not what I was hoping for...
hit and miss
good breakfast selection (don't ever try to take away the o bene - it involves about 6 plastic containers with each bit packed separately, and 2 bags to hold it all!). recommend the school bus smoothie. sandwiches and hot dishes are not great, same goes for most of the desserts.
