Venue Description

Bringing a French vibe to the SoHo dining district, the restaurant exudes a casual elegance and the warm and cozy atmosphere of a Parisian street cafe. A nostalgic touch is enhanced by maroon coloured-walls, black and checkered floor tiling, embossed floral celing tiles and ornate brass racks perched high holding old leather cases and berets.

House specialties include Mussels in White Wine Butter Sauce, Corn-fed Canadian 'Black Angus' Rib Eye Steak with Cafe de Paris Butter, Pan-fried Foie Gras and our homemade fries.

Great Authentic French Bistro

This small Parisien bistro does well to emulate the atmosphere of the great French capital's street-side cafés - it feels authentic without quite going over the top. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and offered some good advice with the extensive wine list. Our chosen starters, the daily special of homemade fois gras, and the salmon and crabmeat tian, were both handsomely presented and full of flavour. Our main courses were a man-sized "steak frites", of which the main event was cooked to perfection and the homemade fries were a delight, and a superb pork confit, striking the perfect balance between the savoury meat flavour and the fattiness that is essential with such pork belly dishes. Sadly, we didn't have room for dessert, especially after the warm mini-baguettes with fish paté offered at the start. Overall, a fantastic little spot for a quiet little dinner. (Price: around HK$450 per head for two courses and a glass of wine).

Set lunch does not cover drink

I like the classic French deco. Both services and food were of good quality. Lunch is value for money and compatible to other SoHo venues. Since set lunch does not cover drink, you may end up paying up to HK$ 150 per head

not so far off the streets of Paris

I love this place!
So typically French. It really could be a cafe in Paris.
Standard dishes served in traditional non-complicated fashion.
Everything is full of flavour and more or less just as you'd expect it.
And with a great wine list to go with it.
