    Cantopop Dropped

    0

Sad news for fans of upscale cha chaan teng Cantopop, which has closed its doors at L Place as it searches for a new location, but every cloud, as they say, has a silver lining – from 1 January 2012, Linguini Fini will be stepping into the fold, taking over the ground floor space. Cantopop made a name for itself by providing an upscale take on local ‘diner food’ similar to the fare found in the innumerable cha chaan tengs dotted around the city.

They're currently open for coffee and drinks at the bar, and will start serving Set Lunches and items for the dinner menu later this week. Looking forward to giving this one a try.  EDIT: Kitchen now open! Bon appétit!
