After years of research and tasting into the French culinary art, Le Fauchon opened up for business on Elgin street, then being a unique neighbour to its incense and antique stores. To stay true to its French nature, seafood and other ingredients are flown in from France, attracting a rather notable clientele. Though today not located at the same place as it originally was, few other things have changed but an expanding legacy. Le Fauchon is still a go-to place for haute French cuisine.
