Assaf is a small, nice restaurant that serves fantastic Lebanese and Middle Eastern food. It has no million dollar design but it is pleasant and cozy and the food is great. Starters and appetizers ("Mezze") include some excellent dips and salads like: Hommos, Moutabal, Babaganoush (eggplants and Tahini paste), Tabbouleh, Falafel, Warak inab (stuffed wine leaves), Labneh, Loubia, Fatoush and the likes. For a main dish, you can try one of the scrumptious grilled meat dishes, like:Shawarma (lamb or chicken), Kafta, Shish kebab or Shish Taouk. Sweets lovers should keep some space for the Baklava or the Halawa.
