Top 5 Drinks
I’m not a lager drinker. I don’t mind the odd pint here and there, but for the most part I find the prospect of a lager fuelled night out rather tasteless. Not to mention gassy. Below are details of my own personal endeavour to reclaim cocktails and mixers for like-minded men in Hong Kong. Benjamin Hall
1
Grilled Pineapple and Pepper Martini
Perfect drink to open a night with. Probably the most delicious beverage available in Hong Kong.

2
Tanqueray 10 and Tonic
My constant. A diverse, delicious mixer made all the more tantalising by the rather special ‘10’ adorning the very fancy bottle.

3
Gin Fizz
Overlooked by many because of it’s tonic water sibling, the gin fizz is a subtle drink that really can be enjoyed from morning 'til night.

4
Mojito
True enough, theres an amazing variety of these in Hong Kong, unfortunately most are disappointingly bland mojitos – Sahara know how its done.

Strawberry Daiquiri
Decadence in a chocolate frosted glass – this acquired taste is just about worth time spent in the decidedly unfriendly venue.

Top Drinks in Soho
- Feather Boa: The Espresso Martini is also outstanding, possibly the best in HK
- Havana: They used to do a pineapple and cardamom daiquiri which was wonderful, am not 100% sure if they still offer it though...
- Drop: try the Nuts & Berries shooter for a taste of a special recipe I gave them 4 years ago. It is a raspberry and hazelnut shooter and ladies especially tend to love it.
