The Arrival of SoHo 8
The din of construction work has swamped the heart of SoHo of late, its source hidden deep beneath a nest of scaffolding midway along Staunton Street. Until recently this hive of activity has been obscured by sheer white placards, upon which the emblazoned ‘SoHo No.8’ surely reminded those with an international eye of the iconic UK underground logo.

As construction and fit out comes to a close and the press releases start flying, Staunton’s Group have offered quiet insight into their latest foray that, unsurprisingly, has nothing to do with an additional UK themed MTR station.
SoHo No.8 looks set to provide SoHo visitors with a perfect people-watching location, offering an elaborate cocktail selection, a versatile New World wine list and a number of champagnes by the glass. Atop their heady drinks selection, SoHo No.8 also offer an international menu, boasting everything from healthy finger food to hearty Australian beef tenderloins and roasted prawn salads.
Their ‘Life is great at SoHo Eight’ motto may be a little Kitsch, but with such a fantastic location and the experience afforded by Staunton’s, the tremendously successful flagship bar, this is indeed an exciting time for SoHo socialites.
This refreshing venue opens on the 31st of July for drinks and the 7th of August for full dining, watch this space for a full review coming soon!
