New to SoHo
Whether your calendar of choice is Gregorian or Chinese, the year is new and with it comes a host of exciting new openings in SoHo. Ben Hall checks out four of the best...
Eat Right is an old favourite with escalator riders looking for a quick bite and it has now made a new home for itself on Staunton Street. As the name suggests, the dining concept has remained the same and the focus here is on healthy, nutritional food. However, the interior has been thoroughly revamped. The stark, white design from yesteryear has been replaced with an ultra cool, minimalist vibe, complete with vibrant wall hangings and polished dark wood.
Yorkshire Pudding is Staunton Street’s most recent addition and promises the absolute best of British cuisine in a truly authentic "pub" setting. An ideal location for the elusive traditional Sunday roast that so many Hong Kongers crave, this eye-catching restaurant offers both a traditional and modern take on British cuisine with consistently hearty portions filling the plate, oversized Yorkshire puddings and plenty of hearty British ale.
McSorley’s, SoHo’s self-professed "local pub" has done away with its upstairs pool area and, decking the already cosy balcony out with comfortable sofas, has created a charming little environment to while away lazy afternoons enjoying idle banter and the tasty bar snacks and traditional pub cuisine on offer.
Breathing new life into Pottinger Street, the brand new Mrs Jones brings fine Italian dining to SoHo. Offering an impressive selection of wines and gentle jazz tinkling in the background, the warm, understated environment welcomes diners for a range of set lunches and a la carte feedings from noon ‘til midnight - ideal for those old romantics.

The new MacSorley's
I had an afternoon in the new upstairs of MacSorley's recently and it was great. Comfortable, with an old pub feeling, they have expanded their range of beers and whiskey's and have some delicious specialty burgers on offer!
Missed the Superbowl there though, as I couldn't wake up early enough :-(
Has anyone been to Mrs Jones yet?
I walked past Mrs Jones the other day and it looks so cute! I'd be really interested to know if it's any good? Looks like a great spot for the big V-day next week! Has anyone eaten there yet?

Mrs. Jones
Loved that place, went there for dinner with my boyfriend and it was delicious. The pricing was really good...something like $85 bucks for a gnocci dish. The size was large, making m boyfriend a very happy man!!!
