Even Joyce herself occasionally hangs out at Joyce is Not Here, a place best described as an “Artist bar”. The friendly and atmospheric bar hosts themed events every night, ranging from poetry readings to open mic and art-cinema sharing. The interior design was coordinated by Joyce Baker herself, and comprises a bluish bar with black sofas, arm chairs and round tables sitting in a mosaic, alongside with some oil paintings, photographs, poems and books casually dropped around the place, as well as many red lanterns lighting up the room.
