Club 71 is a magnet for bohemians, artists and philosophers. Named after July 1st, a day strongly associated with pro-democracy demonstrations, Club 71 is a colorful bar with a prominent creative vibe. The indoor sky painted on the ceiling, along with instruments scattered about and the multi-colored mural contributes to that impression. The drink list is fairly basic, but you can bring your own food if you want to eat in the outdoor area, and even order food from surrounding restaurants. Located in an alleyway popular amongst local mahjong-enthusiasts, it’s a nice place for a drink and conversation.
