Yardbird ranked no.45 as Hong Kong Emerges as Major Winner at Asia’s Best Restaurants 2014

Nine Hong Kong restaurants earned a place on the list of Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2014, with Japanese Restaurant Yardbird making the list for the first time at position 45. For a second consecutive year, Amber (No.4) in Hong Kong is named The S.Pellegrino Best Restaurant in China. Two Hong Kong restaurants were also honoured with individual awards: Tenku RyuGin was named One To Watch, sponsored by Peroni Nastro Azzurro, while Fook Lam Moon earned The Highest Climber Award, sponsored by Zacapa Rum while.

Hong Kong was further represented by returning favourites Lung King Heen (No.9), 8 ½ Otto e Mezzo Bombana (No.10), Caprice (No.13), Bo Innovation (No.15), and L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon (No.18).

Japanese Restaurant Yardbird specializes in Yakitori dishes of skewered grilled chicken.  The many different parts of a chicken, including the heart, liver, thigh and neck, are grilled over traditional Bincho charcoal and can be found on the Yardbird menu. In addition to Yakitori, Yardbird also features dishes that incorporate fresh, seasonal ingredients as well as a tempting array of carefully selected sake, shochu, beer, wine and spirits.
