Celebrate with Crepes

From Monday to Sunday, 20-26 February, swing by Entourage to celebrate Mardi Gras with pastry chef Jullien Renaut’s special crepe menu.

The phrase ‘Mardi Gras’ refers to Shrove Tuesday in French, the day when families would clear out the kitchens of all the butter, milk and eggs in preparation for Lent. While the religious significance plays less importance these days, the tradition of making crepes for Shrove Tuesday (or Pancake Day as it was referred to in our household) still continues throughout the world.

Running all week, the crepe menu features delights such as the Classic Sugar and Butter delight, Nutella ($52), Apple & Calvados ($58) and Banana & Dark chocolate ($58). So pop down to Entourage on Lower Elgin Street and indulge in a crepe or two.
